As part of World Anti-Bullying Day, the Os Piratinhas nursery promoted a special musical activity with the support of the music teacher, based on a simple but meaningful question: "What are hands for?"

With the help of music, the little pirates discovered that hands are useful:

• Help their friends 
• Petting and cuddling 
• Applaud and encourage 
• Creating, drawing and sharing

The children participated enthusiastically, singing, imitating the suggested gestures and experiencing, through music and movement, gestures of kindness, care and respect for others.

 

Music was used as a bridge to teach that hands can be instruments of love and not aggression - a simple but essential message from the earliest years of life.
